تلقي ندوة “تعزيز الطاقة وترشيدها في مصر الاستفادة من الخبرات في بنجلادش” الضوء على التجربة اليابانية في تحسين كفاءة الطاقة وتاريخ تعاون جايكا مع مصر وبنجلادش، وتعزيز كفاءة الطاقة في بنجلادش بما في ذلك صياغة الاستراتيجيات ودور الهيئات الحكومية وإدارة الطاقة، والآليات المالية لتعزيز كفاءة الطاقة في بنجلادش والتوعية بذلك، وكذلك تحليل التحديات والفرص المتاحة في مصر مع المقارنة بين الخبرات المصرية ونظيرتها في بنجلادش لمعرفة فرص دعم هذا المجال الحيوي.
تتمتع جايكا بتاريخ طويل من التعاون المثمر مع الحكومة المصرية لدعم توليد الطاقة بما في ذلك الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة وتحسين كفاءة الطاقة في مجال التوريد والحد من الفقد في شبكات نقل وتوزيع الكهرباء. وتهدف جايكا من خلال هذه الندوة إلى إجراء المناقشات مع الحكومة المصرية لتعزيز كفاءة الطاقة في مجال الطلب وتلبية الحاجة المتزايدة إليها في مصر وخاصة في القطاع الصناعي الذي يستهلك ثاني أكبر حصة من الطاقة في مصر بعد القطاع السكني. وقد ساهمت جايكا في دعم مجال الطاقة حيث أنها أوفدت أكثر من 20 مسؤول من الوزارات المصرية للبترول والكهرباء والصناعة وغيرها لليابان خلال العامين الماضيين بهدف مشاركة الخبرات اليابانية في مجال تحسين كفاءة الطاقة.
وتدعو جايكا المسئولين من الهيئات الحكومية البنجلادشية المختلفة كهيئة تنمية الطاقة المستدامة والمتجددة، وصندوق تمويل البنية التحتية والشركة المحدودة لتنمية البنية التحتية إلى هذه الندوة لتبادل خبراتهم في مجال تحسين كفاءة الطاقة بالتعاون مع جايكا وإجراء مناقشات بنَاءة حول الوضع الحالي في مصر وسبل دعم مجال الطاقة من خلال الاستفادة من الخبرات في بنجلادش.
The seminar is shedding light on (i) Japan’s experience in Energy Efficiency and history of collaboration with Egypt and Bangladesh; (ii) Experiences of promotion of Energy Efficiency in Bangladesh including strategy formulation, role of government entities and energy management; (iii) financial mechanisms for promotion of energy efficiency in Bangladesh and awareness activities; (iv) Challenges and opportunities of promoting Energy Efficiency in Egypt with observations and comparison among both Egyptian and Bangladesh experiences and how to promote further this important field.
JICA has a long cooperation with the government of Egypt for supporting electricity generation including renewables besides energy efficiency, mainly on the supply side, to improve efficient energy production and reduce the losses of transmission and distribution networks. After consultation with the government of Egypt, this seminar is to promote Energy Efficiency in the demand side, especially for the industrial sector, which represents the second highest share of power demand in Egypt after the residential sector. JICA has started some activities in this area already where more than 20 officials from concerned Egyptian ministries including electricity, petroleum and industry were dispatched to Japan during last two years for sharing knowledge on energy efficiency enhancement.
In this seminar, JICA invites the government officials from Bangladesh Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA), Bangladesh Infrastructure Finance Fund Limited (BFFL) and Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) to share quite useful experiences of promoting energy efficiency in cooperation with JICA and also have constructive dialogue on the existing measures for energy efficiency in Egypt and how to
