في إطار المسئولية المجتمعية ودعم الشباب، تم انعقاد مؤتمر صناعة النفط و الغاز للعام الخامس على التوالى، برعاية شركة كويت إنرجى. وقد نظم المؤتمر بقيادة وإشراف الجمعية الأمريكية لجيولوجى البترول AAPG SU SC بكلية هندسة بترول السويس.
وقد تم عقد فعاليات هذا المؤتمر بمقر المجلس العربى للطفولة والتنمية الكائن بحى مدينة نصر في يوم الخميس الموافق 3/12/2020. وقد روعى – أثناء إقامة تلك الفعاليات – تنفيذ جميع الإجراءات الاحترازية لمواجهة جائحة كورونا مثل التباعد الاجتماعى وتقليل عدد الحضور إلى نصف العدد.
ويعتبر هذا المؤتمر هو الأول من نوعه منذ جائجة كورونا، حيث كان حضور المدعويين حضورا فعليـــــا وليس عن طريق الاتصال عبر الإنترنت ولقد منح طلاب قسمى البترول والجيولوجيا بالكلية فرصة قيمة لتنمية قدراتهم المهنية والشخصية.
إحتوى هذا المؤتمر على العديد من الموضوعات التقنية والرئيسية من قبل المتحدثين ذوى الخبرة العالية بمجالات النفط والغاز مثل ” تحليل العينات الصخريه” ،”انابيب الصيانه المرنة الملفوفه” وأخيرا وليس آخرا ” الأبار متعددة المسارات”. وهذا بالإضافة إلى جلسة خاصة بعنوان “إدارة المشروعات بصناعة النفط والغاز” ،والتي قدمت بشكل مثمر ومتميز من قبل المهندس أحمد أبو زيـد “أخصائى تخطيط الأداء بشركة كويت إنرجى إيجيبت”.
وفي إطار مواصلة شركة كويت إنرجى إيجيبت تنمية الشباب وتمكينهم بطرق متنوعة، تم التمويل ماديًا لمجلة ” بتروبلس ” العدد رقم 8 ” – والتي تنشر العديد من الموضوعات المتعلقة بمجالات النفط والغاز من مقالات علمية وتقنيات جديدة واكتشافات – تحت رعاية الجمعية الأمريكية لجيولوجى البترول AAPG SU SC . وعلى الرغم من أن إصدار العدد الأخير من المجلة كان يمثل تحديا كبيرا – بسبب تفشى جائحة كورونا -، إلا أن النتيجة النهائية فاقت كل التوقعات وذلك يرجع إلى جهد الطلاب الجماعى.
والجدير بالذكر أن شركة كويت إنرجي إيجيبت ترعى النشاط الطلابي لــــAAPG SU SC للسنة الرابعة على التوالى.

sponsors OGIC 5 Youth Event & PetroPulse Magazine
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and the youth empowerment, Kuwait Energy Egypt sponsored Oil and Gas Industry Conference 5 “OGIC 5” for the fifth year in a row organized by American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Suez University, Student Chapter, “AAPG SU SC”. The conference took place at the Arab Council for Childhood and Development at Nasr City on Thursday December 3rd, 2020.
OGIC 5 is considered the first offline event sponsored by Kuwait Energy Egypt since the outbreak of Covid’19. Proficiently, all precautionary measures including social distancing have been implemented perfectly in addition to reducing the capacity of attendees to the half.
The conference provided an ideal opportunity to high-potential petroleum and geology students to enhance both their professional and personal development. Several technical key topics were presented by key professionals and experts’ speakers in the oil & gas sector like ‘Core Analysis’, ‘Coiled Tubing’ and ‘Multilateral Wells’. The above topics were in addition to a non-technical topic of “Project Management in Oil and Gas Industry” which was productively delivered by Eng. Ahmed Abozied, Performance Planning Specialist at Kuwait Energy Egypt.
Kuwait Energy Egypt continued youth development & empowerment
in diverse ways including the sponsorship of PetroPulse Technical Magazine “issue 8” by AAPG SU SC which generally publishes full technical knowledge, informative articles, new technologies and discoveries in the field of Oil and Gas. Although releasing the final issue of the magazine was challenging due to Covid’19 outbreak, but the collective effort of the students handed out an extraordinary result.
It is worth mentioning that Kuwait Energy Egypt is sponsoring AAPG SU SC for the fourth year in a row.
