وافق مجلس الوزراء، خلال اجتماعه اليوم، برئاسة الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، على عدة قرارات منها الموافقة على السير في إجراءات التعاقد مع شركة سيمنس الألمانية لتنفيذ حزمة (LOT-3) من مشروع تحسين كفاءة الطاقة الممول من هيئة التعاون الدولي اليابانية “JICA”، في نطاق 3 شركات توزيع كهرباء هي شمال القاهرة، والاسكندرية، وشمال الدلتا، وذلك في إطار التعاون القائم بين الحكومتين المصرية واليابانية، وفي ضوء المساهمة في تنفيذ المشروعات الحيوية بقطاع الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة بمصر.
Siemens – El Sewedy Electrometer Alliance officially awarded JICA (LOT 3) for the North Delta Electricity Distribution Company (NDEDC)

The Egyptian Cabinet of Ministers, headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, approved a series of actions earlier today among which was the awarding of Implementation of JICA (LOT 3) for the North Delta Electricity Distribution Company (NDEDC) to the alliance of Siemens AG and El Sewedy Electrometer Group allowing the Ministry of Electricity & Renewable Energy to proceed with contract negotiations.
This project funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is divided into 3 different Lots in North Cairo, Alexandria and North Delta and aims to improve the efficiency of the power distribution sector by upgrading the infrastructure management system, whilst introducing an advanced meter infrastructure.
This strategic project is an integral part of the cooperation between the Japanese and Egyptian governments, aiming to contribute to the implementation of vital projects in the electricity and renewable energy sector in Egypt.
