أعلنت شركة «فينترسال دِيا» الألمانية عن نجاحها في اكتشاف جديد للغاز الطبيعي ضمن امتياز دسوق في منطقة دلتا النيل البرية. وتركّزت العمليات في البئر الاستشكافية الجديدة (NSG-3) في خزّان أبوماضي داخل امتياز دسوق بموجب اتفاقية تطوير الحقول في هذه المنطقة. ويأتي الاكتشاف الجديد بعد اكتشاف الشركة السابق في منطقة التنقيب في شرق دمنهور في يناير من العام الجاري 2023. ويتم تشغيل مشروع غاز دسوق من قبل شركة «ديسوكو»؛ وهي مشروع مشترك بين فينترسال دِيا والشركة المصرية القابضة للغازات (إيجاس).
وحول هذا الاكتشاف، يقول أولاف ريتز، مدير عام المشروع المشترك «ديسوكو»: “تشكّل الاحتياطات الجديدة المُضافة مثالاً آخر على التعاون المثمر مع شريكتنا إيجاس في مشروعنا المشترك، وسيكون لها مردود إيجابي على استمرارية الإنتاج في دسوق”. وقد تمّ حفر بئر NSG-3 على عمق 3070 مترأ، حيث اعترضت خزاناً ارتفاعه 22 متراً في تكوين أبوماضي.
وبهدف تسريع الإنتاج وزيادة العوائد على الصعيد الاقتصادي، تستخدم فينترسال دِيا البُنى التحتية في دسوق والموجودة بالقرب من البئر الموصولة بشبكة الغاز الطبيعي الوطنية. وفي هذا السياق، يلمح سامح صبري، مدير عام شركة فينترسال دِيا مصر، إلى أن: “كميّات الغاز الإضافية ستسهم في جهود فينترسال دِيا الرامية إلى ضمان مستقبل طاقة آمن ومُستدام في مصر”.
Wintershall Dea has made a natural gas discovery in the Abu Madi reservoir
Wintershall Dea has found natural gas in its Disouq concession in the onshore Nile Delta. The step-out well (NSG-3) targeted the Abu Madi reservoir inside the Disouq concession under development lease. It follows a previous discovery in the East Damanhour exploration block in January 2023. The Disouq gas project is operated by DISOUCO, a Joint Venture between Wintershall Dea and the Egyptian Gas Holding Company (EGAS).
“The latest reserves additions is another example of the great cooperation with our partner EGAS in the Joint Venture and will prolong production at Disouq“, says Olaf Reetz, General Manager at the DISOUCO JV. NSG-3 well was drilled to a total depth of 3070 m and encountered 22 m of reservoir in the Abu Madi formation.
To fast-track production and to maximize the economic feasibility, Wintershall Dea is using existing Disouq infrastructures in the vicinity of the well linked into the national natural gas grid. “The additional gas volumes will contribute to Wintershall Dea’s efforts to ensure a secure and sustainable energy future in Egypt”, says Sameh Sabry,Managing Director of Wintershall .DeaEgypt
