أعلنت Hitachi ABB Power Grids اليوم تطورها لتصير Hitachi Energy اعتبارًا من أكتوبر 2021. حاز هذا القرار بتغيير الاسم على موافقة مجلس الإدارة والمساهمين ويأتي تزامنًا مع الذكرى السنوية الأولى للمؤسسة منذ انطلاق عملياتها في الأول من يوليو عام 2020. تمتلك شركة Hitachi Ltd. حصة بنسبة 80.1 في الشركة المحاصّة وتحمل ABB Ltd. زمام الموازنة.
تتمتع الشركة الرائدة في التكنولوجيا العالمية والسوق الدولي، التي يقع مقرها الرئيسي في زيوريخ، سويسرا، بتراث عريق من الإنجازات الباهرة، التي ساعدت في زيادة فرص الحصول على طاقة كهربائية سالمة وآمنة وموثوقة لأكثر من قرن. وتتنوع تلك الإنجازات ما بين ابتكارات رائدة مثل تقنية التيار المباشر عالي الجهد1 التجاري على مسافات طويلة، الذي يمكّن البلاد من النقل الفعّال لكميات كبيرة من الطاقة عبر آلاف من الكيلومترات بخسائر قليلة مع الحد من بصمة الكربون، وبين توفيرها لشبكات صغرى وحلول لتخزين الطاقة، مصحوبة بأنظمة تحكم ذكية ومتقدمة، تضمن توافر الطاقة الموزعة بشكل موثوق. لقد لعبت المؤسسة دورًا رائدًا في تمكين نظام طاقة عالمي أكثر قوة وذكاءً ومراعاة للبيئة.
واليوم، نجد أن التصدّي لتغير المناخ من القضايا ذات الأهمية القصوى ويُشكل أحد أكثر التحديات إلحاحًا في عصرنا. وفقًا لتقرير ” صفر انبعاثات بحلول عام 2050″2 الصادر عن الوكالة الدولية للطاقة، يُعد الوصول بالانبعاثات إلى مستوى الصفر طريقًا صعبًا” ويتطلب الثبات عليه زيادة الاستثمار في البنية التحتية وبخاصة “النشر الفوري والمكثف لجميع تقنيات الطاقة النظيفة والفعالة.” بحلول عام 2030، من المتوقع أن يكون الاقتصاد الدولي أكبر بنسبة 40 بالمئة تقريبًا، لكن من المتوقع استهلاكه لطاقة أقل بنسبة 7 بالمئة ليثبت على هدف بلوغ مستوى الصفر في عام 2050. وبحلول هذا الوقت، “ستهيمن مصادر الطاقة المتجددة على مجال الطاقة” وستبلغ “نسبة الاعتماد على الطاقة الكهربائية 50 بالمئة من إجمالي استهلاك الطاقة العالمي” – بعد أن كانت 20 بالمئة تقريبًا اليوم2. ويُشكِل التحول العادل والمستدام في مجال الطاقة أساس هذا التحدي العالمي، حيث ستكون الطاقة الكهربائية بمثابة أساس نظام الطاقة بأكمله.

صرّح السيّد توشياكي هيجاشهارا، الرئيس التنفيذي لدى Hitachi ومديرها التنفيذي، إنه “في ظل التغير المناخي والكوارث الطبيعية المتزايدة، تنشأ حاجة إلى حل ثلاث مشكلات اجتماعية على الصعيد العالمي وهي: البيئة، والقدرة على التكيف، والأمن، والسلامة.” واستطرد قائلًا، “توفر Hitachi ABB Power Grids مجموعة متنوعة من الحلول التي من شأنها حل تلك المشكلات الاجتماعية، وبتغييرنا اسم الشركة ليكون Hitachi Energy، فإننا نعمل على توطيد التزامنا ببناء مجتمع مستدام. ستساهم كل من Hitachi وHitachi Energy في حل المشكلات الاجتماعية وتحسين نوعية الحياة للشعوب من خلال تحقيق الابتكار الاجتماعي في مجال الطاقة مع العملاء والشركاء.”

من المزمع أن تغير Hitachi ABB Power Grids اسمها إلى Hitachi Energy اعتبارًا من شهر أكتوبر. وفي الوقت ذاته، سنغير العلامة التجارية للشركة إلى علامة Hitachi التجارية وسنستخدمها في الاتصالات الداخلية والخارجية. تم تسجيل شركة Hitachi Energy Ltd رسميًا بتاريخ 30 يونيو، 2021 وتجري الآن العملية الرسمية لتغيير الاسم على الصعيد العالمي.
Coinciding with its first-year anniversary, the global technology and market leader announces that it will be changing its name and corporate brand from October 2021
Egypt, 4 July, 2021 – Hitachi ABB Power Grids today announced that it will be evolving to become Hitachi Energy from October 2021. The decision to change name has board and shareholder consent and coincides with the business’ first-year anniversary since it started operations on 1 July, 2020. Hitachi Ltd. has an 80.1 percent stake in the joint venture and ABB Ltd. holds the balance.

Hitachi ABB Power Grids will change its name to Hitachi Energy from October. At the same time, we will change our corporate brand to the Hitachi brand and use it for external and internal communications. The business formally registered Hitachi Energy Ltd. on 30 June, 2021 and is now undertaking the formal process for the change of names globally.
