Eng. Jaber Desouki, Chairman of the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company, witnessed the signing of the contract for developing and modernizing the first model at the North Cairo power station of the Cairo Company for electricity production. The unit includes the first and second gas units with 750 MW M701F and the contract with Cairo for production of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Egypt Gaber Desouki, Chairman of the Holding Company. The project value is about 12,533,225,716 Japanese Yen and the implementation period of up to 18 months from the date of activation of the financing offer by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency JICA)
The contract was signed on the Egyptian side , Engineer Mohamed Mokhtar Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Cairo for the production of electricity and on the Japanese side , Mr. 1-Mr. Satoshi Uchida – CEO 2-Mr. Satoshi Honda – CEO. The signing ceremony was also attended by a number of managers of Mitsubishi Japan, most notably Eng. Hisham Hassan, Director of Mitsubishi Corporation
