حدد وزير البترول والثروه المعدنية المهندس طارق الملا ملامح الخطة الانتاجية للزيت والغازات خلال العام المالي 2017/2016 حيث اكد خلال تقرير الموازنة التخطيطية للهيئة  العامة للبترول  ان اجمالي الانتاج اليومي سيبلغ 1,5 مليون برميل مكافئ بينما تصل جملة الطاقة التكريرية 27,8 مليون طن خام مكرر وقال الوزير خلال تقرير حصلت عليه باور نيوز من مكتب المهندس طارق الحديدي الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة المصرية  العامة للبترول ان جملة الانتاج من الزيت الخام 595 الف برميل زيت خام يوميا و75 الف من المتكثفات و 42,4 مليار متر مكعب من الغازات و1,9 مليون طن من البوتجاز بينما تبلغ طاقة معامل التكرير التابعة للقطاع العام 23 مليون طن و4,8 مليون طن من معمل ميدور ويبلغ الاستهلاك نحو 83,3 مليون طن عن الموازنه بينما كان 89,1 مليون طن معتمد خلال العام الحالي 2016/2015 سيبلغ استهلاك البوتجاز 3,9 مليون طن والبنزين 6,6 مليون طن والسولار 14,9 مليون طن والمازوت 12 مليون طن والغازات الطبيعة 42 مليون طن وتمويل السفن والطائرات الاجنبية مليون طن وبلغت قيمة فروق بيع اسعار المنتجات البترولية (الدعم) 35 مليار جنيه مقابل 61,7 مليار جنيه بموازنة الهيئة للعام المالي الحالي مقابل 73,9 مليار جنيه فعلي 2015/2014 وقال ان قيمة الدعم 2006/2005 حتي عام 2015/2014 بلغ 805,5 مليار جنيه وبلغ قيمة الدعم من 1994/1993 حتي عام 2005/2004بلغ 104,4 مليار جنيه ليبلغ اجمالي الدعم من 1993 حتي عام 2015 فعلي 909,9 مليار جنيه وتعهد وزير البترول في تقريره امام مجلس النواب ان يوجه من الخزانه العامه خلال عام الموازنه نحو 47,3 مليار جنيه تشمل 14 مليارا فائض للدوله و 11,1 ضرائب مستحقة علي نشاط الشركاء الاجانب في مصر و11,9 اتاوات وضرائب مبيعات ورسوم جمركيه ونحو 10,3 مليار ضرائب داخلية وقال ان الخزانة العامة للدوله حصلت علي 550,3 مليار جنيه من عام 2006/2005 حتي عام 2015/2014

وتم تقدير سعر خام خليط خليج السويس – بإعتباره الخام القياسي للخامات المصرية -علي اساس 37 دولار/ برميل (برنت 40 دولار/ برميل ) وهو السعر المعلن بالنشرات العالمية مقابل 67دولار /برميل(برنت 70 دولار/برميل )بموازنة العام المالي 2016/2015 و تم ادراج قيمة ما سيتم استيراده من الغاز المُسال لتغطية جانب من احتياجات البلاد من الغاز الطبيعي بقيمة قدرها 2,74 مليار دولار بما يعادل 24,69 مليار جنيه مقابل 3,33 مليار دولار بما يعادل 25,8 مليار جنيه بموازنة العام المالي 2016/2015
