تقديم أكثر من 38 ألف دورة تدريبية مجانية للمصريين للمساعدة في تطوير القدرات الهندسية والتكنولوجية
القاهرة، 7 فبراير 2021: دعت شنايدر إلكتريك، الشركة الرائدة في مجال إدارة الطاقة والتحول الرقمي، بالتعاون مع شركة تكنولوجيا المعلومات “افيفا”، المبتكرين ورواد الأعمال والمبدعين من الشباب المصري لعرض أفكارهم الجريئة وتطبيق أفكارهم وابتكاراتهم على أرض الواقع، وذلك من خلال مسابقات Go Green in the City لعام 2021، على أن يكون الموعد النهائي لتقديم أفكارهم في 15 فبراير الجاري.
وتستقبل مسابقة Go Green في عامها العاشر مشاركات جميع الطلاب من كافة الجامعات المصرية، ويمكن للطلاب أيضًا المشاركة ضمن فريق مكون من عضوين أو البحث عن شركاء في مجموعة المنافسة لدينا، ويمكن تقديم المقترحات في أي من الموضوعات الخمسة التالية: الوصول إلى الطاقة، ومنازل المستقبل، ومصانع المستقبل، وشبكات المستقبل، وفك شيفرة [أو تشفير] المستقبل.
وسيكون أمام الفريق الفائز فرصة السفر إلى إحدى المدن التالية: بوسطن (الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية)، أو لندن (المملكة المتحدة)، أو باريس (فرنسا)، أو شنغهاي (الصين)، أو نيودلهي (الهند)، وذلك بعد النهائيات التي ستجرى على المستوى الوطني، وزيارة مختبرات أبحاث شنايدر إلكتريك لمشاركة أفكارهم مع إدارة الشركة، بالإضافة إلى ذلك، ستعمل شنايدر إلكتريك مع الفريق الفائز لاستكشاف كيفية تهيئة الفكرة الفائزة وإعدادها للاستخدام التجاري.
وقال هاني شلتوت، نائب الرئيس لقطاع تطوير الحلول بشنايدر إلكتريك شمال أفريقيا والمشرق العربي: “تزخر مصر بالعقول النيرة، ونحن نرى المستقبل في شباب المبتكرين الذين لا تتقيد أفكارهم بأي ظروف؛ وهذا هو السبب في أننا في شنايدر إلكتريك نبحث باستمرار عن الشباب الذين يمكنهم الانضمام إلينا ونحن نبني المستقبل، ومساعدتهم على اكتشاف شغفهم الحقيقي ودعمهم لبدء حياة مهنية ناجحة “.
وفي العام الماضي، تنافس الآلاف من المهندسين الكهربائيين وخريجي الجامعات التكنولوجية بمصر في مسابقة جامعة شنايدر إلكتريك للطاقة، وقد أتم الطلاب، الذين كانوا يتنافسون على مجموعة من الجوائز، بما في ذلك الهواتف الذكية والدورة التدريبية المخصصة التي مدتها ثلاثة أسابيع، أكثر من 38,900 دورة تدريبية في أكثر من 150 موضوعًا، بما في ذلك كفاءة الطاقة وإدارة مراكز البيانات.
وقدم الموقع الإلكتروني لجامعة شنايدر إلكتريك منذ إطلاقه في عام 2009 تعليمًا رائدًا على مستوى الصناعة ومحايدًا بشأن كفاءة الطاقة لمئات الآلاف من المهنيين في جميع أنحاء العالم، وقد تم تصميم الدورات التدريبية الذاتية، والتي لا تستغرق أكثر من ساعة لكل منها ويمكن أخذها في أي وقت وفي أي مكان، من قبل خبراء متخصصين، ويمكن لأي شخص يستخدم ذلك المورد اختيار اتباع عدد من مسارات التطوير المهني التي تركز على موضوعات مثل كفاءة الطاقة وإدارة الطاقة.
و أضاف هانى شلتوت: “كانت مسابقة الجامعة في العام الماضي استثنائية، ولكن الشيء الوحيد الذي لم يتغير هو مدى إعجابي بالطلاب الذين انضموا إلينا، إن صناعة الطاقة تتغير بسرعة، ولهذا أصبح التعلم مدى الحياة مهم أكثر من أي وقت مضى للمهندسين وخبراء التكنولوجيا. أود أن أشكر كل طالب شارك في العام الماضي، ويسعدني أن أقول لهم أنكم أظهرتم أن صناعتنا لها مستقبل مشرق هنا في مصر”.

Schneider Electric calls on Egyptian innovators to participate in its Go Green in the city global challenge
Go Green in the City is one of Schneider Electric’s many initiatives aimed at empowering youth and help them embark on a successful career; last year the company provided for free over 38,900 courses to Egyptians to help develop the nation’s engineering and technology capabilities
Cairo, Egypt, 7 February 2021: Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, and information technology company AVEVA are calling on young Egyptian innovators, entrepreneurs, and game changers to pitch their bold ideas to put their skills to the test for a chance to turn them into a reality in the Go Green in the City 2021 competitions. The deadline for entering ideas is February 15th
Now in its tenth year, the Go Green Competition is open to all students in all Egyptian universities. Students can also apply as a part of a two-member team or look for partners in our competition pool. Proposals can be made in any of the five categories: Access to Energy, Homes of the Future, Plants of the Future, Grids of the Future, or De[coding] the Future
The winning team will be given the opportunity to travel to one of the following cities: Boston (USA), London (UK), Paris (France), Shanghai (China) or New Delhi (India) after the national finals and visit Schneider Electric’s research labs to share their ideas with the company’s management. In addition, Schneider Electric will work with the winning team to explore how the winning idea can be adapted for commercial use

In 2020, thousands of Egypt’s up-and-coming electrical engineers and technology graduates competed in Schneider Electric University Competition. The students, who were competing for a range of prizes, including smartphones and a three-week personalized training course, completed over 38,900 courses in total across over 150 subjects, including energy efficiency and data center management
Since its introduction in 2009, Schneider Electric’s University website has provided industry-leading, vendor-neutral energy efficiency education to hundreds of thousands of professionals worldwide. The self-paced courses, which last no more than an hour each and can be taken at any-time and anywhere, have been designed by subject matter experts. Anyone using the resource can choose to take up a number of professional development paths focusing on subjects such as energy efficiency and energy management
