أعلنت شركة التصنيع وخدمات الطاقة “طاقة” عن استراتيجيتها الواعدة لدعم جيل جديد من المواهب القادرة على مواكبة التغيرات الطارئة على قطاع الطاقة في ظل توجه الصناعة، والشركة كأحد روادها، نحو توطين تكنولوجيات الطاقة النظيفة وتحقيق صافي الانبعاثات الصفري، تماشيًا مع رؤية مصر 2030، واستراتيجية الطاقة 2035.
وجاءت تصريحات الشركة خلال اليوم الختامي لمؤتمر “إيجبس 2024″، المؤتمر الأكبر للطاقة في مصر وإفريقيا، حيثما استعرضت خدماتها وحلولها الرائدة في قطاع الطاقة، بالإضافة إلى استراتيجيتها التوسعية الطموحة في مصر وإفريقيا، والتي كان ضمنها الاستحواذ على شركة المنصوري لخدمات البترول في العام الماضي ليصل رأس مالها البشري إلى 5500 بأكثر من 20 دولة حول العالم.
وخلال حلقة نقاشية حول تنمية وتدريب المواهب والقوى العاملة على المهارات اللازمة لتحقيق صافي صفر الانبعاثات الصفري Net Zero، صرح معتز سراج، المدير الإقليمي لشركة “طاقة” في مصر، أنه من المتوقع أن يؤدي الانتقال للطاقة النظيفة إلى خلق 10.3 مليون وظيفة جديدة على مستوى العالم بحلول عام 2030، ولكن ستتطلب هذه الوظائف مهارات جديدة وخبرات فعالة بمجال الاستدامة البيئية، والانبعاثات، وحتى كفاءة استهلاك الطاقة.
وفي هذا الصدد، تحدث سراج عن أهمية إعادة تأهيل القوى العاملة لمواكبة هذه التطورات قائلًا: “نعمل في شركة “طاقة” على تدريب ورفع مستوى الوعي بين موظفينا، من خلال وضع معايير متجددة تواكب تطورات الصناعة في إطار الحد من الانبعاثات الكربونية، بالتوازي مع استراتيجيتنا التي ترتكز على تعزيز الابتكار والتكنولوجيا. وعليه، نخطط لإطلاق أكاديمية الاستدامة هذا العام لتوفير تدريب شامل لمواءمة الموظفين الجدد مع ثقافة شركة “طاقة” وأهدافها وقيمها المستدامة، لاسيما أولئك الذين ينضمون من الشركات المستحوذ عليها “.
وأشار سراج إلى أن ممارسات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة لها أهمية قصوى في عمليات الشركة، موضحًا أنه بينما حققت طاقة إنجازات كبيرة في هذا المجال من خلال التدريب وتنمية المهارات، احتاج الموظفون وقتًا طويلًا نسبيًا لدمج هذه الممارسات بشكل كامل؛ ولذلك تعمل الشركة على دمج ممارسات الاستدامة بشكل أسرع وأكثر جدية بين جميع الموظفين”.
وفي حلقة نقاشية أخرى بعنوان “بناء مركز إقليمي للغاز الطبيعي في شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط”، شارك فيها تمير ناصر، المدير المالي لمنطقة إفريقيا والعراق بشركة طاقة للتصنيع وخدمات الطاقة، أكد ناصر على قوة البنية التحتية والانتاجية لمصر فيما يتعلق بالغاز الطبيعي، لاسيما مع الحقول المكتشفة حديثًا والتي تزيد من قدرة مصر الإنتاجية والتصديرية.
وأضاف ناصر: “ننظر إلى الغاز الطبيعي كمصدر طاقة هام سيظل جزءا من مزيج الطاقة في المستقبل لقلة انبعاثاته والتطور المستمر للبنية التحتية بين دول المنطقة. فمع ارتفاع الطلب العالمي، سوف تتطور منطقة شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط لتصبح مركزًا عالميًا لإنتاج وتصدير الغاز الطبيعي، وشركة “طاقة” مستعدة للعب دور مهم في هذا التطور.”

During a panel discussion themed “Empowering a Net-Zero Ready Workforce – Rethinking Talent Development”, Moataz Serag, Country Director Egypt at TAQA, underscored a notable forecast. He highlighted that the shift towards clean energy is anticipated to generate 10.3 million fresh employment opportunities worldwide by 2030. However, he emphasized that these roles would necessitate novel proficiencies and expertise in environmental sustainability, emissions management, and energy efficiency.
“In our commitment to staying on top of industry advancements and mitigating carbon emissions, TAQA prioritizes upskilling and retraining existing workforce,” remarked Serag. “We’re fostering awareness and expertise among our employees by setting sustainable standards that reflect industry evolution. Around the end of this year, our forthcoming Sustainability Academy will play a pivotal role in this endeavor, offering extensive training programs to integrate new hires seamlessly into TAQA’s culture and sustainable vision, especially those transitioning from acquired firms.”
Serag also emphasized the criticality of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices within TAQA’s operations. He noted that although the company has made substantial strides in the HSE realm through training and skill enhancement, it took a notable duration for employees to fully embrace these practices in the past. Consequently, TAQA is intensifying its efforts to make the journey to sustainability a much faster process across its entire workforce.
In another EGYPES 2024 panel discussion titled “Establishing an East Mediterranean Natural Gas Hub”, Tameer Nasser, Finance Director Africa, and Iraq at TAQA, highlighted Egypt’s robust infrastructure and natural gas production capabilities. He particularly underscored the significance of newly discovered fields in bolstering Egypt’s production and export capacities.
