أكد المهندس حسام صبري، الرئيس التنفيذي والعضو المنتدب لمجموعة شركات ICE، أن المجموعة رسخت مكانتها كبيت خبرة عالمي يقدم حلولاً متكاملة ومبتكرة لقطاعات النفط والغاز والطاقة والبنية التحتية، مستندة إلى خبرات عريقة تمتد لـ 25 عاماً، وشراكات وتكنولوجيات رائدة مصدرها تورونتو وكبرى المراكز العالمية.

وأوضح «صبري» في تصريحات خاصة لموقع «باور نيوز» أن مجموعة ICE تتخذ من مدينة تورونتو الكندية مقراً رئيسياً لها، وتدير شبكة واسعة من الشركات والمقرات الإقليمية في كل من أبوظبي، القاهرة، ومسقط، لتغطية أسواق أمريكا الشمالية والشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، مشيراً إلى أن هيكل المجموعة يضم في أمريكا الشمالية ICE Genesis وICE Canada، وفي أبوظبي شركتي ICE Concepts (للاستشارات والحلول الهندسية المتكاملة) وICE Middle East (المختصة بأعمال التفتيش الهندسي وفحص المهمات والمواقع)، إلى جانب التوسع المؤسسي الهام في السوق العُماني من خلال تأسيس ICE Oman بمقرها في مسقط، فضلاً عن المقر الرئيسي الإقليمي والتشغيلي بمصر.
شراكات استراتيجية وتعاقدات مباشرة مع كبرى شركات الطاقة ونجاحات كبرى بالمنطقة
وحول حجم الأعمال الإقليمية والدولية للمجموعة، كشف المهندس حسام صبري عن حصول ICE Middle East على تعاقدات مباشرة مع كبرى شركات النفط والغاز في المنطقة للتفتيش على عدد من المشروعات الداخلية والخارجية، فضلاً عن فوز المجموعة مؤخراً بمشروع حيوي لصالح «أدنوك» لتقييم مخاطر التآكل والتشغيل الخاصة بحقل «النصر» للغاز في أبوظبي؛ وهو من الحقول الواعدة التي تنتج نحو 250 مليون قدم مكعب من الغاز يومياً وتتصل بتسهيلات الإنتاج والتصدير البحرية في جزيرة داس.
وأضاف أن ICE سبق أن نفذت مشروعات كبرى لإطالة العمر الافتراضي للمنشآت الحيوية، من أبرزها مشروع متكامل لصالح «أدنوك» لتقييم منشآت الغاز الطبيعي المسال والمخاطر والحالة الفنية للأصول، مما ساهم بفعالية في مد العمر الافتراضي للمنشآت من عام 2040 إلى عام 2050. كما نفذت مشروع التقييم الشامل لمنصتي تصدير النفط التاريخيتين في العراق (Basra Oil Terminal وخور العمية في البصرة) اللتين تعودان ستينيات القرن الماضي، حيث قامت المجموعة بتقييم حالتهما الفنية المعقدة ووضع خطط التأهيل والصيانة لمواجهة عوامل التقادم.

وأوضح العضو المنتدب لمجموعة ICE أن نطاق خدمات المجموعة يرتكز على محاور استراتيجية دقيقة تستهدف تمكين الشركات من تحقيق تشغيل آمن، مستدام، ومربح، وتشمل:
- تكامل الأصول وتقييم المخاطر: تقييم الحالة الفنية للمنشآت النفطية والغازية، وخفض نفقات التشغيل والصيانة، وتعظيم الإنتاج بما لا يتعارض مع سلامة الأصول والكوادر البشرية.
- إدارة سلامة خطوط الأنابيب (Pipelines Integrity Management): تقديم أحدث استراتيجيات وخدمات التقييم المباشر، وإدارة المخاطر، وضمان الكفاءة التشغيلية لشبكات نقل النفط والغاز الإقليمية بالتعاون مع العديد من كبرى شركات تشغيل خطوط الأنابيب عبر المنطقة لعكس أفضل ممارسات الموثوقية وسلامة الخطوط.
- التصميمات الهندسية والرفع المساحي ثلاثي الأبعاد والرقمنة: إحداث نقلة نوعية في موثوقية الوثائق الهندسية وربطها بالواقع التشغيلي.
- الحماية الكاثودية: حيث تُعد ICE من رواد هذا المجال في مصر والمنطقة، بتنفيذ أكثر من 400 مشروع استراتيجي في قطاعات البترول والغاز والري والمياه والكهرباء، إلى جانب امتلاك مصنع متخصص لتصنيع معدات الحماية الكاثودية وتطوير الأنظمة المتقدمة.
- وفي قطاع الكهرباء، أشار «صبري» إلى أن ICE نفذت وأشرفت على أعمال الحماية الكاثودية لمعظم محطات الكهرباء الكبرى في مصر (مثل: بني سويف، العطف، الشباب، شمال القاهرة 1 و2، عتاقة، المحمودية، أبو قير، طلخا، غرب دمياط، والبرلس)، إلى جانب العمل حالياً في محطتي الطاقة العملاقتين بالمملكة العربية السعودية رابغ ومرجان بالمنطقة الغربية.
- كما نفذت المجموعة مشروعات استراتيجية بقطاع الري تضمن إطالة عمر المنشآت لفترات تتراوح بين 30 و50 عاماً.
- رقمنة منشآت التكرير الكبرى بتقنيات المسح الليزري والذكاء الاصطناعي
- وفي سياق مواكبة توجه قطاع البترول لرقمنة المنشآت الحيوية، سلط المهندس حسام صبري الضوء على المشروعات الكبرى التي نفذتها ICE مع كبرى شركات التكرير، وفي مقدمتها شركة الإسكندرية الوطنية للتكرير والبتروكيماويات «أنربك»، حيث نفذت الشركة مسحاً شاملاً ودقيقاً لنحو 12 وحدة باستخدام تقنية الرفع والمسح ثلاثي الأبعاد بالليزر (3D Laser Scanning) مستخدمة معدات وكاميرات مملوكة للمجموعة، أعقبه التحول الرقمي الكامل للوثائق الهندسية لتعكس الوضع الفعلي للمصانع، لافتًا إلى الانتهاء من مشروع مماثل لشركة أسيوط لتكرير البترول في يناير 2026، وتوقع استكمال مشروع «أنربك» خلال الربع الأول من عام 2027.
- وأكد «صبري» أن هذه المشروعات تمثل ركيزة أساسية لتعزيز معايير السلامة الصناعية والتشغيلية (Process Safety)، وتجنب المخاطر الجسيمة الناتجة عن عدم تطابق الوثائق القديمة مع الواقع الميداني.
- توطين التكنولوجيا وتأهيل الكوادر
- واختتم المهندس حسام صبري تصريحاته بالتأكيد على التزام مجموعة ICE بنقل أحدث تكنولوجيات العصر وأدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي في إدارة المخاطر وتفتيش الأصول إلى السوق المصرية والإقليمية، مشيراً إلى حرص المجموعة الدائم على الاستثمار في الكوادر المصرية وتدريبها وفق أعلى المعايير العالمية، وتنظيم المؤتمر السنوي للمجموعة في شهر فبراير من كل عام لعرض أحدث ما توصل إليه الفكر الهندسي العالمي في مجالات السلامة والصيانة وإدارة الأصول.

Engineer Hossam Sabry, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the ICE Group of companies, affirmed that the group has established its position as a global house of expertise offering integrated and innovative solutions for the oil, gas, energy, and infrastructure sectors. This is backed by a 25-year legacy of expertise, along with leading partnerships and technologies originating from Toronto and major global centers.
In exclusive statements to Power News, Sabry explained that the ICE Group is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, and manages a wide network of regional companies and offices in Abu Dhabi, Cairo, and Muscat to cover the North American, Middle Eastern, and North African markets. He noted that the group’s structure includes ICE Genesis and ICE Canada in North America, while its Abu Dhabi operations comprise ICE Concepts (specialized in integrated engineering solutions and consultancy) and ICE Middle East (specialized in engineering inspection and asset/site assessment). This is alongside a significant institutional expansion in the Omani market through the establishment of ICE Oman with its headquarters in Muscat, in addition to the regional and operational headquarters in Egypt.
Strategic Partnerships, Direct Contracts with Major Energy Companies, and Major Regional Successes
Regarding the group’s regional and international business volume, Engineer Hossam Sabry revealed that ICE Middle East has secured direct contracts with major oil and gas companies in the region to inspect several internal and external projects. Furthermore, the group recently won a vital project for ADNOC to evaluate corrosion and operational risks for the Nasr gas field in Abu Dhabi—one of the promising fields producing approximately 250 million cubic feet of gas daily, connected to offshore production and export facilities on Das Island.
He added that ICE has previously executed major projects to extend the operational lifespan of vital facilities, most notably an integrated project for ADNOC to evaluate liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, risks, and asset technical conditions, which effectively contributed to extending the operational lifespan of the facilities from 2040 to 2050. It also executed the comprehensive assessment project for two key oil export facilities in Iraq (the Basra Oil Terminal and Khor Al-Amaya in Basra), which date back to the 1960s, where the group assessed their complex technical condition and developed rehabilitation and maintenance plans to safely extend its lifetime for an additional 20 years.
Asset Integrity Management, Pipeline Integrity Management, Cathodic Protection, and Digital Twinning: Leveraging Proven Technologies to Ensure Sustainable, Profitable, and Safe Operations
The ICE Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director explained that the scope of the group’s services is built upon precise strategic pillars designed to empower companies to achieve safe, sustainable, and profitable operations. These include:
Assets Integrity Management and Risk Assessment: Evaluating the technical condition of oil and gas facilities, reducing operational and maintenance expenses, and maximizing production without compromising asset safety or human resources.
Pipelines Integrity Management: Providing the latest direct assessment strategies and services, risk management, and ensuring the operational efficiency of regional oil and gas transmission networks in cooperation with many major pipeline operators across the region to reflect the best standards of reliability and line safety.
Engineering Designs, 3D Laser Scanning, and Digitalization: Driving a qualitative leap in the reliability of engineering documents and linking them to operational realities.
Cathodic Protection: ICE is considered a pioneer in this field in Egypt and the region, having executed over 400 strategic projects in the petroleum, gas, irrigation, water, and electricity sectors, alongside owning a specialized factory for manufacturing cathodic protection equipment and developing advanced systems.
In the electricity sector, Sabry pointed out that ICE has executed and supervised cathodic protection works for most major power plants in Egypt (such as Beni Suef, El-Atf, El-Shabab, North Cairo 1 & 2, Ataqa, El-Mahmoudia, Abu Qir, Talkha, West Damietta, and Burullus), in addition to currently working on two giant power plants in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—Rabigh and Marjan in the Western Region. The group has also executed strategic projects in the irrigation sector that ensure facility lifespans are extended by 30 to 50 years.
Digitalizing Major Refining Facilities via Laser Scanning and AI Technologies
In line with the petroleum sector’s drive toward digitalizing vital facilities, Engineer Hossam Sabry highlighted the major projects executed by ICE with leading refining companies. Foremost among these is the project with the Alexandria National Refining and Petrochemicals Company (ANOPC), where the company carried out a comprehensive and precise survey of 12 units using 3D Laser Scanning technology with equipment and cameras owned by the group. This was followed by the complete digital transformation of engineering documents to reflect the actual plant status. He noted the completion of a similar project for the Assiut Oil Refining Company in January 2026, with the ANOPC project expected to be finalized during the first quarter of 2027.
Sabry emphasized that these projects represent a foundational pillar for enhancing industrial and process safety standards, and avoiding severe risks resulting from discrepancies between legacy documentation and field realities.
Technology Localization and Workforce Training
Engineer Hossam Sabry concluded his remarks by reaffirming the ICE Group’s commitment to transferring cutting-edge modern technologies and artificial intelligence tools for risk management and asset inspection to the Egyptian and regional markets. He highlighted the group’s continuous dedication to investing in Egyptian human talent, training them according to the highest global standards, and organizing the group’s annual conference every February to showcase the latest global engineering innovations in safety, maintenance, and asset management.
