قال مسئول بوزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية ان الشهور الاربعة القادمة ستشهد زيادة كبيرة فى أنتاج الغاز من منطقة جنوب غرب بلطيم التابعة  لحقول شمال النورس وقال المسئول لموقع باور نيوز منذ قليل ان “اينى” دخلت على المنطقة الجديدة حيث ستقوم بحفر أربع آبار بإستثمارات تصل الى 120 مليون دولار تزيد الانتاج من 350 مليون قدم مكعب الى 700 مليون قدم مكعب يوميا وقال المسئول هذا خبر عظيم ضمن اخبار الغاز المبشرة بالخير خلال الاعوام المقبلة من خلال دخول حقول “شمال الاسكندرية” و”ظهر” على خط الانتاج

من ناحية اخرى أشار المسئول الى انه وبعد خسارة “سيجاس” لدعوى “التحكيم الدولى” ضد مصر فإن مصر الآن تقف على أرضية قوية فى مفاوضاتها مع “يونيون فينوسا” الاسبانية مؤكدا ان هناك مفاوضات تجرى حاليا بشكل منتظم لإجراء تسوية عادلة تحقق مصلحة جميع الاطراف وانهاء النزاع بعد انتهاء قضية “التحكيم الدولى” لصالح مصر مشيداً بموقف الشركة الاسبانية فى ابداء مرونة كاملة وحرصها على تسوية النزاع بشكل يحقق مصلحة جميع الاطراف غير ان المسئول رفض الخوض فى التفاصيل للموقع وقال “لم يحن الوقت بعد”.
