MDEP, Middle Delta Electricity Production, under the presidency of Eng. Hamdy Dorgham, hosted a group of; 1. the Chmn and the Managing Director of the company in Banha Power Station; 2. the leaders of Electricity Holding Company led by Eng. Gaber Desouky; EEHC Chmn; 3. Eng. Mahmoud El Nakib, the production full-time agent; 4. Eng. Shaaban Khalaf, EEHC consultant; 5.Eng. Mohamed Abdel-Raies, Chmn of WDEPC; 6. Eng. Mohamed Mokhtar, UEEPC Chmn; 7. Eng. Tarek Abdelhamid, the Chmn of Cairo EPC; 8. Eng. Mohamed Abo Senna EDEPCO Chmn ; 9. Eng. Mohamed Abd ElHakam, SDEDC Chmn; in existence of a crowd of Production companies leaders and presidents.
Eng. Hamdi Dergham gave a welcome speech to Eng. Jaber Desouqi, the owner of the plan for developing and coding the stores’s project. He greeted the attendees and accompanied them on a field tour of the power plant in Banha to see the development and modernization of the station’s stores, which met the admiration of all visitors. Also, he passed through the main control room of the station and the obstetric units; along with inspecting the work progress of the station.
In addition, Eng. Hisham Al-Jundi, Head of Technical Affairs Sectors at MDEPC, presented a summary of the great efforts made in the project to develop and code the company’s inventory at the level of stores. Not only that but also the electronic linking between stations and modern programs and the financial return of this development; as a result of the exchange of spare parts between different production companies.
This took place in the presence of Eng. Adel Abdel Aziz, Head of the Production Sectors, and Accountant Mohamed Salah Awad, Head of the Financial, and Administrative affairs sectors of MDEPC.
The heads of companies presented a quick summary of the achievements of each company; followed by a presentation by Eng. Shaaban Khalaf on a consolidated report on the development of the project during 4 years from 12/31/2015 to 12/31/2019. Moreover, the financial savings achieved by both companies and the holding company as a result of this development.
Mahmoud Al-Naqeeb, a full-time member of the production companies, praised the project and pointed out the need to make the most of the project when companies buy spare parts to make sure that they are not in the stores of the other companies.
Eng. Jaber Desouky emphasized that the main goal of the project is the existence of one warehouse for the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company, EEHC One Store, which gives the companies; not only freedom of movement when they need spare parts and achieving financial savings, but also liberating the companies from the pressure of the original suppliers of spare parts.
Futhermore, he highlighted the need to pay attention to the maintenance programs for the generation units, as well as to reduce the loss in distribution companies to reach the best cost per kilowatt- hour, which reflects positively on the Egyptian citizen in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy.
Moreover, he emphasized the need for continuous development and monitoring of all stores of production and distribution companies’ stations, stressing that periodic visits will be made to determine the status of stores and their development in all companies.
Finally, the meeting concluded with a set of memorial photos of the leaders with their employees.
