Major General Wael El-Safty, Head of the Central Authority for Securing Petroleum Installation and Manager of the Main Emergency Room, sent a letter to the Chief Executive Officers of the General-Joint-Investment Company of the Petroleum Sector calling for the need to enforce the precautionary steps to counter the Coronavirus with full commitment and precision in the light of the the number of of infection with the emerging Coronavirus, taking into account Implement these instructions:
1- The need to examine company employees before going to the sites, whether by bus or aircraft, in Cairo to ensure that none of them enter the sites where they are arrested or injured, as well as to start the inspection procedures until they hesitate to visit the sites.
2-The need to tighten up procedures in terms of cleanliness and temperature calculation, follow-up on leave and insulation cases for offenders and adhere to all pre-existing precautionary measures and procedures, and to promptly report any cases of injury and follow-up on the situation, with focus on the fact that protocols are being applied and following up on the implementation of them.
The central administration of the petroleum installations calls on the heads of the companies to take precautionary steps for any decision made at the sites to counter Corona.
