Under the supervision of the Equipment, Electrical and Cable Division – Chamber of Engineering Industries, Eng. Atef Abdel Moneim, the Chmn of the division and Chmn of Sectoral Skills Platform, gave a speech at the opening of the first workshop to the international experts; in cooperation with the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction; within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between each of FEI and CEI with EBRD. According to which the sectoral skills platform for the Equipment and Electrical Division was established.
Moreover, It aims to develop labor skills in the industrial projects of the division by establishing training programs that qualify labor and rise to international levels, which impacts the Egyptian industry system based on the importance of skilled manpower in that organization.
Further to this, The European specialists have characterized the work plan for the following stage. They have additionally explained comparable encounters to the experience of the sectoral skills platform in different nations, for example, India and South Africa, realizing that EBRD aims to form entities similar to the skills platform for the Equipment, Electrical and Cables Division. Also, that is in different divisions that are under the umbrella of the Chamber of Engineering Industries and even extends to other economic entities such as the tourism sector in order to raise the efficiency of labor in all sectors within the Arab Republic of Egypt.
