Eng. Tariq Al Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, headed the General Assembly of the General Petroleum Company to approve its planning budget for the fiscal year 2020/2020.
During the association, the Minister directed the continuation of the implementation of the program to develop production facilities and infrastructure.
In addition, he stressed on the completion pace for the exploratory and development projects in the company’s fields.
Not only that, but also, he stressed on the necessity of adherence to the timetable for contributing in achieving the sector’s plans to increase production; especially from crude oil.
Furthermore, he emphasized on the importance of providing a safe work environment to attain the highest levels of safety and environmental compatibility in the production areas.
A calling for a focus on exploring new opportunities and projects was highlighted to reach a a tangible quantum leap for the company; which contribute to adding more production and backups services, expressing full confidence that GPC has the capacity and qualified personnel and distinguished young elements that qualify them to achieve this during the coming period.
