PowerNews reports that, in the middle of a competition for a number of local companies, the Alliance of Giza Misr and Al-Ahram Contracting Company had made the lowest bid in the tender for Mohamed Naguib Transformer Station with a voltage of 66 kV and a connection line of 40 km.
Noting that, El Sewedy , T&D, Madkour, Hassan Allam, Mega and Man alliance with XD competed in the bid.
The implementation time shall be 8 months for the line and the station. It is noteworthy that Giza Misr has successfully implemented a transformer station west of El-Shorouk with a voltage of 220 kV and is currently installing a 500 kV Zagazig transformer station in partnership with Power China.
