El-Madar Company for Engineering Projects and Public Supplies is one of the leading national companies in the field of civil works and electromechanical installations, which has introduced an electrical voltage of 220 in the SS2 transformer station.
On Friday, January 24th, 2020, It was capped with the successful launch of electricity at the SS2 administrative transformer station, where the orbit carried out its civil works.
The current was launched in the presence of the Minister of Electricity and Power, Dr. Mohamed Shaker, a number of members of the Ministry, the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company and the Administrative Capital Company.
The Minister praised the work carried out at the station, which varies in its architectural style from the norm for similar stations.
The disparity in architectural style and adherence to the compressed schedule was not the only obstacle that Al Madar faced during its implementation, but also the construction of what was known as the Handling Room as an alternative to the transmission towers through which the station is linked to the main network.
Which is a concrete structure with a surface area of 100 m 2 and a depth of 8 m below the surface of the earth connected to a number of sub-tunnels to feed the station and connected to the main tunnel. Accordingly, it should have been completed within 3 months in parallel with the rest of the work within the station in order to complete all the work within the station in accordance with the schedule set for it.
Moreover, Mr. Ahmed Afifi, project manager for Power News, has clarified that completing the work required coordination with the general contractor through regular weekly meetings to discuss all construction and details of the bypass point.
Furthermore, The excavation and construction work has been completed within the specified time period for the entire station to graduate as a masterpiece added to the distinguished architectural layout of the new administrative capital buildings.
