The production rate from the field is projected to reach approximately 420 million cubic feet of gas per day and approximately 11 thousand barrels of condensate during the next financial year, and that work is ongoing on Evaluation of Phase 10 field studies Preliminary reserves estimated at approximately 236 billion cubic feet through 7 wells are expected to be added; stressing that for the first time in the history of the drilling company (C Gel) deep exploratory layers (Swan East) have succeeded in increasing the production rate of the initial well to 110 million cubic feet of gas per day, an increase of 50 million cubic feet above the target.
Al-Sharkawy added that the budget for fiscal year 2019/2020 aims to pump investments estimated at about $167 million, and work is underway to drill the (Monto) well at an initial cost of about $99 million from the (Indian Discovery) drilling rig, which targets high-pressure and heat layers at depths of up to 20 thousand feet.
